We work with a wide range of partners across industry, research, and the trades to develop and deliver innovative solutions.
With IDA, you connect software solutions, cloud services, and your suppliers, easily and efficiently. Instead of clicking through multiple webshops or making long phone calls, you place orders directly in IDA. All key details, including product master data, current prices, price trends, order history, and delivery terms, are available at a glance. This minimises purchasing effort and helps you secure the best price.
Here is an overview of our current research and development projects, delivered together with our partners.
As part of a research project, DHSH is developing software that automatically extracts key information from scanned invoices, order confirmations, and delivery notes. The project includes a feasibility study, a software library with an API, and support for integration. The goal is fast, accurate recognition of relevant document content using deep learning and OCR.

In Project KIM, Irem and Ahmed from IDALABS are developing an AI powered assistant that automates parts of the quotation workflow, from analysing tender bills of quantities to creating reliable draft quotations. The solution is built directly into our ERP software, IDA.
In quotation management, manual effort is often the bottleneck. Complex bills of quantities take time, they are prone to errors, and the work is usually not billable. That ties up resources and slows down value creation. KIM helps by guiding users through the quotation process in a structured way, reducing manual steps, and supporting decisions using existing ERP data.
How KIM works
The result: the processing time for even complex bills of quantities is reduced from up to two days to around two hours. Processing time, even for complex bills of quantities, is reduced from up to two days to around two hours. This speeds up quotation preparation, reduces errors, improves the quality of commercial decisions, and noticeably relieves users, with no additional training effort.
KIM is the next step in our AI strategy, using AI where it creates real added value, end to end, seamlessly, and deeply integrated into existing processes.
